Who can publish?
Players, solo developers and studios can publish games they own or have permission to distribute. A studio can use a Vihar profile representing its team, but the account owner remains responsible for the listing. Do not share account passwords or impersonate an official Vihar game.
Your game files stay with your hosting provider. Vihar creates a discoverable listing, links your creator profile, provides identity and activity services, and lets players leave reviews. Publishing does not transfer ownership or guarantee traffic, revenue or search rankings.
Create a private draft
- Create a Vihar ID, finish your player profile and verify your email.
- Open Dashboard → Creator studio → Create game.
- Choose Direct play if the game needs no accounts or saved player progress. Choose Vihar ID if it has login or saves player progress.
- Enter the title, public HTTPS game URL, browser or download type, genre and an original description.
- Add a cover image, up to six screenshot URLs, how-to-play instructions, controls and supported devices.
- Confirm that you own the game and images or have permission. Choose Private draft and Save draft. The draft is visible only to you.
Connect the game on your own hosting
- In the Content tab, find the saved game and copy its game ID.
- Select Register saved game URL. The registered origin must match your game's saved URL.
- Add the SDK to your actual game website. Every game needs start, pause, resume and end tracking hooks.
- If the game uses accounts or saved progress, add the visible Sign in with Vihar ID button, a sign-out action and the shared-identity explanation on your website.
- Select Open integration test. On the game site, sign in if required and play for at least 15 seconds. Return to Content and wait for the test-passed status.
Publish and maintain your listing
Older listings remain accessible while their creators migrate. Editing them into a published state requires the current integration checks. Guest play is never silently converted into earlier account activity.
- Edit the draft, preview the game page and choose Public in Visibility.
- Select Publish game. The server requires matching, enabled, tested integration settings plus a cover and play guide.
- Open the public game page and check the launch link, identity button and mobile layout.
- Share the public community page. Review real player feedback in Creator studio.
- When changing your game URL or access mode, save as a draft, register again and repeat the test before publishing.
